If I’m Sox I pay down Moncada’s contract and get more prospect capital in return. Maybe Howard, Hernandez, Roederer, Strumpf, Davis (included in your deal) types that Cubs have moved on from. As Cub fan I would love to dump the contracts of Bote and Smyly and sign Clevinger or Lorenzen with savings.
