This would never happen, but in case it did, maybe this is how it would play out.

It would never happen. Rays currently have 4 WAR Paredes at 3B, and top 5 prospect Caminero and top 50 prospect Mead waiting in the wings.

Yes, as I stated, this would never happen. I was just having fun and seeing what I would have to do to get both these sides to line up. The Mets and the Rays would both quickly put down the phone.

I guess I don’t understand what you’re saying. Baty doesn’t fit the Rays’ needs at all, so I don’t think a trade for him is likely “to play out” in any manner. Are you a Mets fan and want them to trade for Aroz?
