1I’m a no on this one. If McKenzie is healthy (I have my doubts) I would want more, or at least something different. I’m not convinced Jones will be an above average player, let alone an all-star. Everyone loves the size and athleticism, but he was just ok in A+ ball, had a high K rate, and was about league average age. For perspective Rocchio is the same age and had an OPS of .788 in AAA, Jones .787 in A+ (to be fair the IL is a better offensive league). I wonder if he wasn’t a Yankee and wasn’t a 1st round pick if his value would be as high. Maybe I lack imagination, but I’m not seeing it.
