Rangers get a veteran RH bat to compliment all the LH'ers they have in their line-up. He can get plenty of AB's at DH to replace Mitch Garver, at 1st alongside Lowe (whos struggles against LH'ers) and some in LF as an option if Evans and perhaps Langford struggle as youngsters. With the Rangers getting plenty of arms back at mid-season(Scherzer and DeGromm) and up against the payroll taxes now, they could be more likely to afford to bolster the pen with another power arm to shorten games with the addition of Adam and much less costly than signing a DH bat (Belt)and starter(like Snell/Montgemery), Rays get three young prospects with a developing LH'ed hitter 1st/Co'Ofer in Ortiz and two arms in Bratt and Corniell who don't need to be added to the 40 man roster for a while.

I'd rather have a pitcher headline the return to the Rays. Someone like O.White.
