Tena is actually better than his numbers indicated... He lost a close family member at the beginning of last year (If I remember correctly) so he was greatly affected by that. His numbers after he came back from the restricted list was actually legit hence why he got some major league time. Brennan also will be stronger in 24 than 23 as well... But they don't have the Upside Weimer has, that's for sure. I don't see Milwaukee taking this deal personally just don't underestimate those two
Not a huge downgrade, more of a change of style situation. Maybe not one the Brewers would be interested in, but you trade 5 to 6 HRs for .060 points on the batting average and add a promising young MIF/UTL bat. Not sure if they’d be interested but the value seems to line up.
