The red sox clearly want to trade Jansen and the rangers want to try to make another Ws run and need pitching help for the bullpen and replace monty and want to do that without trading Carter and Langford and in this trade they add a high leverage bullpen piece and the red sox get brock porter whos still in low A and still needs to refine his control

You are expecting the RS to add too much money. Their owner wants to cut salary. I like Brock Porter though.
