4the ceilings of 2 SPs is much higher than a non-closer --LAD keeps their SPs.
Yeah, I don't think the Dodgers would be willing to give up Hurt for Holderman — a solid but unspectacular reliever. Maybe Grove, Knack, and a lower minors lottery ticket instead.
Holderman has closers potential and it frees up a 40 man spot. He’s also pre arb
Dodgers freed up two roster spots with the Busch/Almonte trade, so they're OK for now. May and Gonsolin hit the 60-day IL the minute it is available, too.
