Delusional stuff right here. Giants shed space yet again in these trades freeing up 2 spots on the 40. To go out and acquire Bellinger and Chapman. Blackburn helps bolster the rotation. Giants don’t wanna spend money on Soler, J.D, or even Hoskins so they go out and get Rooker for offensive help.
I like the creativity here! Just don’t really know if Rooker can do anything that Flores doesn’t already do for us. It doesn’t appear as though he’s got value in the OF.
Down vote for the A's. I can see them taking on Conforto as an underwater contract but why would they want Davis as part of the return? He's a FA in a year and there's almost no chance the team would risk offering a QO, so no draft pick compensation. McCray has some very loud tools but the swing and miss means he hasn't played above High-A and the Giants didn't feel the need to protect him in the recent Rule 5 draft.
