4SS they need and a Lefty bat to complement DeLaCruz for a #3-4 starter that the Bucs desperately need.
Cabrera is a starting pitcher of quality, no SS is worth this trade. Palcios is little help
We tend to over value our players so we both might be wrong and right, but Cabrera has a career WAR of less than 4 and the 1.8 that he produced last year is probably what is to be expected. Peguero hit 20 HR last year between AA, AAA and the bigs, average glove at SS with top end speed. You are looking at a possible 20-20 SS and those are worth 3+ WAR a year. If the Pirates didn’t need starting pitcher and I wasn’t so in love with Cabrera’s power change I wouldn’t do it!
Solid trade. Don’t know what marlins fans want . Finally for Josh P on the correct team I see
