1I think Matos is probably assigned too much value here on BTV, but who knows? As a consequence, to make this work, I think the money coming back to SF might be a little high. Or, maybe a prospect a little better than McDonald could be included instead. Regardless, I think this trade framework gets the Giants the front-end starter they need to pair with Webb and gets the Sox down the road on their rebuild. Winn and Matos are reasonably good prospects and clearing the Benintendi contract won't hurt.
