3The trade is dead from the start. Milwaukee isn't going to trade Burnes w/o getting substancial pitching in return. The Brewers certainly wouldn't want a rental outfielder ,Kepler. They don't want Polanco and his $11.25M contract or Miranda.
enge: Polanco would be an $11+M rental for the Brewers. No way they would pay him almost $23M over two years. The Brewers want SP for 2024 when they trade Burnes, not position players as the lead in a deal.

I don't see this iteration happening either, I just came here to comment that I very much could see Milwaukee wanting Polanco, along with others. Maybe something like Polanco, Marco Raya and another prospect or two? I do agree though, Kepler and Miranda don't make any sense for Milwaukee.
