2Interesting trade, MIA giving up players with a max of 2 years of control. MIA gets their catcher with 5 years of control along with HSK and a high upside young arm with 2 years of control left. SD could then sign Gary Sanchez as a stop gap to go along with Higashioka until Salas arrives.
An intriguing proposal for both sides. Kim and Campusano fill the SS and C needs of the Fish without giving up any of their prized SP. If the SS, Merrill supplants Kim how does this deal shake out? Nice job Friar! Tanner Scott is a sleeper in this deal.
