Red Sox take another chance on a recovering pitcher to fulfill their goal of acquiring a young controllable pitcher. The Brewers immediately have an additional lefty infielder to back Turang and show what he's worth before a walk year for Adames. Brewers add another top 100 OF prospect to develop along side their young MLB outfielders and the Red Sox top pitching prospect.

I don't see the Brewers having even the slightest interest in this. They certainly don't want more outfielders, so that pretty much kills this right away since Bleis is the huge majority of the return. The Brewers main weakness is starting pitching, so they aren't going to trade a SP without getting more pitching in return.

The deal is dead from the start. The Brewers have three former top 100 OFs and Chourio (MLB's #2 prospect), another OF, coming up. They also have a 5th OF (Lara) moving up quickly. They definitely wouldn't want Bleis. Gonzalez has severe control issues and isn't going to help in 2024.
