The Dodgers have really good starting pitching and while this is a weird trade proposal, if the Dodgers can land a really good pitching prospect for Urias, it would be worth it. Urias would help boost Toronto's starting pitching who already has Gausman. It would be a step forward if Toronto wants to contend for a World Series. The Dodgers already have more pitchers coming up like Bobby Miller and Gavin Stone that could help the Dodgers out in starting pitching. It would be a large cost for LA to trade a top starting pitcher but Tiedemann is the Blue Jays number one prospect that posted a 2.39 ERA in A+ and a 2.45 ERA in AA. He posted very low WHIPs like the 0.93 one he had in A+ and it got even lower in AA with it being 0.82 and a decent amount of strikeouts 68 combined in both A+ and Double A His best pitch is his fastball as it got a grade of 60, but not only that Tiedemann is the 33rd best prospect in the top 100.

And if thats the case that the Dodgers have these top prospects like Miller and Stone coming up, why would we trade for another pitching prospect?

Dodgers aren't trading Urias. With Kershaw's injury concerns as well as uncertainty surrounding May and Gonsolin, he is their only reliable starting pitcher now. Dodgers aren't trading their best starting pitcher for a guy who might be good in the future.

Mr. Dodger

You are insane to think that LA would ever consider trading Urias. He was our ace all year long.
