2LAD's CBT rate with $282m aav is 94% so adding 32m in aav would cost $62m after tax! I think LAD now looks for trades of CT3 /15m aav OR Margot 10m aav + prospects for a 5LH/SP, ie, Mia's Braxton or Rogers.

If they're that worried about going over the CBT they would just throw in another player or 2 and get the Brewers to kick in some money. It's not anything that would hold up a trade like this if both teams were interested.
