Brooks Lee Solves the SS problem of the Marlins with his Skill Level and Youth, giving the Marlins their SS of the Present and Future. Wallner plugs a hole in the outfield and is an exceptional option. Festa would be good to throw in as he is young, and would benefit tremendously from the Marlins pitching coaches. The Twins would get a Stud Lefty Pitcher with ACE Potential that is comparable to Pablo, with MUCH BETTER STUFF and a Comp Balance Pick to even things out.

I like this proposal for both teams.

Marlins don't need OF as first choice. Not trading a minor league pitcher for MLB pitcher.Twins SS fine.So offer frontline pitcher and ......maybe.

IndicaJones12

The OF is not the first choice. The first choice is Brooks Lee. That is the reason this trade gets done. Wallner is a good player, but basically an add in to make the deal work.

Pass for the Twins. David Festa is undervalued here. 2 top 5 system prospects plus Wallner too much for a part time pitcher.

Part time Pitcher? He threw 178.2 Innings last season Which would've been 3rd on the Twins. 208 Strikeouts would've been 2nd on the Twins. 10 Wins, Also second on the Twins. 3.58 ERA, would be 1st on the Twins. Started 32 Games, would be 1st on the Twins. 162 Hits allowed in 178.2 innings would've been 3rd on the team. Also, he's 26 years old with 3 years left of team control. Festa may be undervalued, and for me, he was more of a Toss in. This trade is about Lee. The other two can be swapped accordingly.
