2If you wanna keep the 3 spare parts and do Gorman and Donovan for Gilbert instead then its a realistic trade.
I wouldn't call any of them spare parts. Thompson looks like a legit SP and Saggese just put up a monster year. Saggese reminds me a lot of Donovan actually. Burleson can't really play defense, which significantly brings down his value, but I think he'll be a great hitter. Probably not enough to get a deal done, though, you're right. I don't think the Cardinals would ever trade both Gorman and Donovan. The other trade proposal I made earlier seems to be more balanced than this one. Gorman + Burleson + Thompson.
