4Cleveland gets its future center fielder, Padres get a needed starter for 2024. Marsee will likely not be up until 2025. An outfield of Kwan, Marsee, and DeLauter will be a huge upgrade.
Concept is fine, but I am doubting Cleveland trades Bieber without 24 production...
As a Padres fan, this is well thought out and practical trade. I think this could be a win win for both sides.
Probably correct. I have concerns they won’t do anything this off season. I know I’m in the minority, but I think the 2024 season will be a repeat of 2023. I would rather gear up for 2025. Really excited about the future #1 pick. I can see that player making an impact very soon. I think you build around that potential now by bringing in some good young SP arms (AA level preferably), and upgrade other positions. I do like Marsee, and think there is tons more value than shown here. We’ll see. Maybe the Ohtani signing will break the ice for signings/trades. Thanks for your comment.
