2Cash and another middle infielder. No thank you. Cleveland needs an outfield and mlb ready pitching depth. Carlson has been an injury waiting to happen. I would only trade Clase if I was overwhelmed by the return. This proposal is very underwhelming.
You must think Cleveland is stupid. If the Cardinals want Clase then the conversation begins with Walker. Cleveland doesn't need another SS. Carlson is a buy low candidate because he hasn't performed to expectations. Mautz is a nothingburger and you can keep your cash.
