This is another completely plagiarized deal that I thought could be interesting. Again, the Dodgers do a sign-and-trade with Burnes and interest from Williams' agent on an extension.

I think this makes sense for both teams. The Dodgers now with Burnes and (almost for sure) Kershaw coming back, Buehler, May, Miller, Grove, Stone, and Knack knocking on the door, won't miss the pitching. They have plenty of money to go and get a FA SP if they need to. Plus they get one of the best closers in the game. The Brewers get some young pitching to fill Woodruff, Burnes, and Miley's spots.

If I'm the Dodgers I would much rather do a trade like this than deal for Dylan Cease. You give up a LOT of young talent that the Brewers need, but you get a stud #1 SP in Burnes who you can sign to a 5 year deal and a top flight closer in Williams to give you the dominant back end guy that the Dodgers always have. And you can sign Williams to an extension as well.
