2I added Rutledge just to make trade work. I find it a little funny I can’t do a Houck for Thomas straight up. I’d do it and I think it’s fair. Thomas is a starting OF. With RH pop and decent glove.
Lane Thomas almost put up triple the WAR that Houck did in 2023. They are the same age, but Houck has 2 more years of team control. It may be an even swap, but I don't see the Nats tossing in one of their more highly regarded prospects to get it done.
