2The Blue Jays need more offense next year and can improve in multiple positions with this trade. Kepler being a Lefty and Polanco a switch hitter that is better from the left side gives more balance to their lineup. Twins would be taking a chance on a Manoah who has multiple years of control and was great a couple years ago but is coming off of a disastrous year. Twins have plenty of second basemen and left handed outfields while the Jays have a stacked rotation even without Manoah so both teams would be trading from their depth.
I also like this. Another benefit is the Twins clear up ~20M that they can use to fill other holes
