3I think this looks like something the Braves would agree to. They have a surplus of starting pitching prospects, and even though it really hurts to lose one of their best in Anderson, they're adding a true impact reliever on an affordable contract.
Enjoying all of this feedback! haha Pittsburgh has a dearth of pitching on the farm after the Archer trade and suspect draft history (Cody Bolton looks legit, but no one else is breaking out, per se). So a trade like this would inject much needed depth/value to a farm that is middling, at best.
Definitely. And I think the Pirates have plenty of solid young pieces, but not a whole lot of upside. Anderson gives them a potential star, and Wentz has plenty of upside himself.
