Down vote for Oakland. I like Elder and I don't mind the salary dump aspect of taking on Rosario but at some point the A's need to inject more position player talent to the system and Schobel doesn't cut it. Adding Elder to Irvin, Blackburn, Rucinski, Fujinami, Waldichuk, Sears, Muller, Kaprielian... are you creating more opportunity or a logjam? Oakland has other organizational needs and if they're going to move Brown and/or taking on a salary dump then they should probably address those needs before adding more big league ready pitching.
