2I believe this has been recycled. Once again Milwaukee says no very, very quickly. The deal is dead almost immediately because Macko and Tiedemann, even though they are the BlueJays top pitching prospects, aren't anywhere close to what Milwaukee would want for pitching in return for Burnes. The Brewers would set their sights for a catcher a lot lower than Moreno's 53.7 SV (Kirk/Huff/O'Hoppe/Jansen/Heim). Milwaukee has to get meaningful pitching for Burnes because they lack depth to replace his value to them.
If Brewers trade Burnes they are tanking,no way they get equal value back for Cy Young athlete.
