2Another quick refusal by Milwaukee. They don't want Cartaya as the major part of any trade with the Dodgers. The Brewer could get a catcher for much less SV and get additional pitching from the Dodgers for Burnes. Vivas and Rushing are unwanted throw-ins. The Dodgers can keep Cartaya/Rushing/Vivas (60.7) and replace them with Vargas/Pepiot/Grove/Ferguson/V.Gonzalez (46.8). A big overpay by Milwaukee, but the return would be worth it.
2y of any SP has too much risk to invest too much FV from farm. LAD does not need Burnes if May comes back from TJS. Cartaya also has risks of 21 yo in AA, Look at Tatis -- so much talent and so much bad judgment.
