3That's a whole bunch of maybes for Burnes. This might be a late in the pre-season deal that Milwaukee would consider. If they couldn't get the established pitching they want for Burnes, this would be their fall back. However I can't see the Guardians giving up this many good prospects for two years of Burnes.
No chance Cleveland sells out their future. Every move made by Cleveland's front office tries to balance the needs of today with the needs of tomorrow. This proposal would be so out of character for them which they would not do for such a short-term gain.
You are joking right on the pitching prospects right? Espino is a top SP prospect in all of baseball, Bibee, baring injury, will likely be at 2/3 at worst on a good ball club. Throwing upper 90s without any effort with three strong off speed pitches... Allen struggled in 22, while Cantillo's question is health not talent... Espino was shut down because they didn't want to press messing his mechanics in minor league games. A Pitching scout essentially said, he's healthy and everything is fine, they just didn't want to push him back for meaningless games and just keep working on improving his mechanics/stuff in Arizona with the staff. He's perfectly fine, if anything, he will have a strong AA season in 23 Bibee isn't a maybe, sub 1 WHIP under 3 ERA (sub 2 at AA), 11.3 SO/9 and 1.8 BB/9 in 25 starts between A+ and AA and it was his first minor league season.
