This makes absolutely no sense for Milwaukee. The very last thing they want is more OFs and here they get three.

I don't understand the reasoning behind this trade. The Twins lose next to nothing and get a very good starter. The Brewers get next to nothing they can use. Milwaukee has an abundance of outfielders already looking for playing time in the big leagues. This gives them 3 more unwanted, unneeded outfielders. Woods Richardson is an ok prospect, but nothing special. Even if it was nothing more than a salary dump the Brewers should be able to get a better deal for Woodruff.

I agree this trade doesn't make any sense for the Brewers, but the "Twins losing next to nothing" is going too far. The Twins would be giving up a lot, just not the right pieces for Milwaukee. Also, the Twins might be selling low on Martin after one bad year. Regardless, I'm not sure the Twins and the Brewers match up if Woodruff is the centerpiece of the deal.
