9A complete rebuild of the M’s middle infield. After acquiring rosario and Giménez, Crawford is expendable. Kelenic and ford are a pretty hefty price, but Giménez is a really great player. Imagine the mariners lineup if this were to happen.
@masonelong Asking for Julio hasn't been done.. and won't be.. it's a ridiculous statement.. IDK why you would suggest it.. No one has confused you with being Jerry DiPoto.. IDK why you'd suggest that.. ..even if it's just for fun.. So, back to the question.. how would you fix this deal?

Did you bother to look at this from the Cleveland perspective? Of course not. Why would Cleveland, also a contender, trade a young controllable star like Gimenez? Cleveland does not need another left handed hitting outfielder. Nothing here to motivate the Guardians. Easy no from Cleveland.

@masonelong ...So.. how would you fix this deal given: -you want Gimenez.. it's unlikely that you would want this deal without him.. -Rosario is a keeper or not in the deal.. he doesn't break the deal other than value.. -Comp Balance A pick is desired by the Guardians.. it can stay.. -Crawford is similar to or slightly worse that Rosario as far as keeping him in the deal..& Cleveland has four more guys who cover Crawford's spot the CleFO likes better.. -Kelenic has had a "good" spring.. but has otherwise been pretty much of a under performer. -Ford, clearly a need of the Guardians, is at least two..and perhaps as many as four years away.. For a club that intends to contend.. other than an unlikely or miracle breakout by Kelenic.. this isn't a deal that offers a lot for the contention in 2023 but may be fruitful in two or four years if the Comp A pick is really something that the Guardians hit on.. So.. how would you fix this deal?..
What, do you want Julio? Fine. It really doesn’t matter because I am NOT Jerry Dipoto. Obviously this trade is ridiculous for the guardians. You and this other guy are acting like this dumb website means something. I’ll repeat what I said to the last guy, this trade is simply wishful thinking from a mariners fan.
Honestly Cleveland isn't going to make Gimenez available at all. Plus they wouldn't want Crawford anyways even if he was (Aka some of the Cleveland fans are tired of peeps only trading for players Cleveland has no reason to trade period and Gimenez is one of them lol).
Maybe you should have stated that in your first paragraph to avoid being decapitated. lol I can't envision the Guardians trading Gimenez and you probably can't either. Besides, I think you'd be selling low too soon on Kelenic here. I think everyone here understands nobody here is an actual GM of an MLB team and that the proposals aren't "real". What this site is for is to post logical, fair trades(as best we can) and instigate conversation. When you post a trade as one sided and absurd as this you have to expect some negative feedback unless you explain yourself prior to. If this website is so "dumb" then why are you posting here? There are some things here that I don't agree with, but I've also learned a lot about how other organization's fans view their team. It's not all bad and hopefully it will continue to improve.
