This is just for fun, I know it’s unlikely and doesn’t make a ton of sense for TEX. However, if they were to sign someone like Josh Bell to play 1B/DH, or Nimmo for CF, they could get away with losing Lowe if it meant getting a solid bullpen arm and a good defensive first basemen in Hosmer who’s a great clubhouse guy, and Dalbec is just a throw-in. He needs a change of scenery and at the very least he’s a guy who’s played 3B and 1B and some middle infield as well. If he ever puts it together, his power could be a huge threat. For PIT, they get a 1B of the future, a nasty arm who can start or close, and a couple of young outfielders, one of which (Rafaela) some scouts say he’d win a Gold Glove in CF if he started for a club in ‘23. I mean, hey, it could happen.
