2Cease is having a down year but his age, elite velocity, K/9 suggest that this may be a hiccup and can regain his '21, '22 form. Playing from windy US cellular field to pitcher friendly, did I say that, well after they "pushed" outfield walls.. may do some magic to become true no.1 for Orioles. Sox needs 2B and LH OFer ready to contribute. Similar to Cease, Sox can give as many reps as possible for Hall to gain his control as SP. Similarly valued Bieber has a lot of red flags: league bottom K/9, slow velocity, transition from pitcher friendly Cleveland ballpark to AL East, and less year of control. If they have to go get elite SP help, Cease will be the answer.
I think the Orioles hold onto Hall. He is struggling a bit right now with 29 hits allowed and 17 walks in 32 innings in AAA, he does have 43Ks though, and if he can clean up the walks he might be a force out of the Orioles pen down the stretch. But yea, I think the Orioles would definitely target Cease over Bieber problem is I don’t think the White Sox will make him available, I think this is a nice offer for him just not enough to get them to trade him.
