7Some Cleveland fans will take anything for Rosario... I can tell you this, it's very unlikely Cleveland wants anything to do with Ramos. They would rather keep Rosario than acquire Ramos. He just isn't a profile they want at all... (Aka they don't want a guy who doesn't hit for contact, nor doesn't field all that well plus where he is at in the Rule 5 status/40 man roster... Now if it was Bart or Bailey Cleveland was trading for, that would be 100% completely different matter. Those are two players Cleveland would want.
Amed Rosario for Patrick Bailey? Surely you’re trolling…
I am just saying, Bart or Bailey are the targets on San Frans team/farm system... They don't want Ramos since he would be purely depth and not even make the roster... He doesn't bring anything to the table Cleveland wants or needs...
I’m just saying, Jose Ramirez for cash.
And I just saying, Cleveland would only want a prospect in return that fits what they like. It doesn't have to be Bailey or Bart of course, but Ramos doesn't fit that...Also I didn't say it was for Rosario, I just meant, Cleveland is looking for certain prospects/certain players in return and won't trade Rosario or another player they have otherwise... Sugastey? Rayner Arias? Meckler? Miles? Birdsong? Anyone available from them?
Sure, but not for a weak-hitting middle infielder. Arias *might* go 1-for-1 for Bieber, and even then, Zaidi most likely says no. I think you’re completely overstating the value of Rosario, as you and your Guards buddies do with all Cleveland players here.
Maybe so, but Cleveland has already kind of stated they aren't just dumping Rosario, which for Ramos, that would be. They aren't trading Rosario for a player they don't want. Honestly Cleveland would take cash before they would take Ramos. He isn't a player Cleveland wants... Plus you are doing exactly the same thing in a sense. You have your players with some inflation and some of the opposing players downgraded. If Bieber goes, it will be on the high end of the value and the same with Rosario hence why I actually don't see either moved.
