2The pre-arb Garcia is more than likely not available due to being highly cost-controllable and someone who could fit the Nats window. I do not see this deal working out as constructed unless the M's are over paying and Garcia is just not the type of player worth overpaying for as of today. M's could see something in Garcia's profile worth the cost of acquisition though.
LHB bat option at a cheaper premium compared to other options mocked, no MLB talent leaves the Mariners in this scenario. Nationals get the Mariners prospects Gough (#23),Hood (#28), Labrada(#34) Garcia is 23, plays a position of need, is pre-arb, and is left-handed all things the Mariners are looking for.
