1This is likely a starting package for upgrades like Bellinger and Stroman. The only serious piece here is Gilbert, and there are issues: small size, injury history, lack of elite tool, but he has a lefty bat and a little Dykstra fire in him. The deal will likely have to either subtract money from the Cubs end, or add another player from Hou. The value of Bellinger and Stroman have to be increased due to the trade deadline, filling needs and most importantly, keeping them off a competitor's roster.
