2This trade for the Red Sox makes no sense. Trading Paxton would end the RS season because they have only three healthy starters. When the RS were floundering this trade I would have loved.
Still only a 30% playoff chance unfortunately. They could still make a move for another starter. There’s just so little outfield talent available in free agency. McCormick is pretty good.
