6Cleveland has Gimenez at 2B and a host of middle infield prospects. They need outfielders. Why would they trade an outfielder for a 2B?
Even if Torres could play LF, he's a FA after next season which does not help Cleveland. I'll deal any of Cleveland's current OF for the appropriate value, but I'm not trading them to end up empty handed. Any trade has to have purpose for both teams. This one has no purpose for Cleveland.
Cleveland traded Benson and Jones because they thought Brennan could be the guy... They may be wrong, but they aren't trading him this off season (especially not for a rental)

I'd bet they'd move Brennan in an instant for the right OFer. Torres isn't that.
See I'd bet against that... I have a hunch they want to build around him... We will see in due time, who is right on this one lol
I agree with Big Bat. If they needed to trade Brennan to get the needed RF, they would do it. What they won't do is trade him for more infielders.
