1The Angels are cooked. They have no farm system and only a handful of good young players. I think that trading Ward is a good idea for a couple reasons. 1. He is going to be 30 yo next season. 2. They could, most likely, get borderline top 100 talent for him. I don’t know if the cubs are the right fit or not but this is how I could see a deal go for Ward.
