Rays need an outfielder to replace Margot that bats righty and can play center well. Brewers need help across the entire infield including DH. Rays offer Aranda who exclusively plays DH realistically in an organization that likes flexibility at DH to rest players and Basabe who is blocked by 2 top 30 prospects in Mead and Caminero with Carson Williams behind in AA. Adam has filthy stuff with command issues which fits with the Brewers but is due for a pay increase in arbitration for a Ray's payroll that needs to be cut. Brewers offset Weimer with the emergence of Frelick and Mitchell's return with Chourio on the horizon in AAA. Basabe can play a utility role his first year and potentially take over second with Turang moving to short if Adames leaves in free agency. Aranda has been one of the better hitters in AAA for years now and deserves a full time role to showcase his hitting prowess which Milwaukee can offer him with the loss of Winker, Santana and possibly Canha.
