Piggybacking on my initial trade that had Aranda and Adam instead of Ramirez. This allows the Brewers to get a proven DH in Harold Ramirez which they desperately need as well as a solid middle infield talent that could be the future answer at 2nd while initially being a solid utility guy. Adames is a free agent next year so Turang could move to short to fill that void giving space for Basabe. Brewers have Frelicks emergence, Garret Mitchell healthy, Yelichs best season in years and top prospect Jackson Chourio waiting in the wings in the outfield. The rays in turn get Margots eventual replacement with years of control in Weimer. He can become a legit backup center fielder and he's a righty to offset Josh Lowe and Luke Raleys emergence as lefty power bats. With Weimer the rays could feel inclined to then sell high on Arozarena as well to fix their holes at pitching or catcher. Harold Ramirez has Aranda as a natural replacement who's absolutely murdered AAA pitching for 2 straight seasons and deserves a shot for regular playing time, while importantly also being a lefty as well to further balance the lineup.

IMO the Brewers would jump at this deal. Ramirez would be an inexpensive DH and may hit for a bit more power in Milwaukee. Basabe looked good in AAA and would be a decent utility guy.

Can this get a highlight? Seems very favored.
