I have no interest in Chavis but I like Mata (probably) more than I should. Nix Chavis from the deal, have Boston kick in cash for 2020 and 2021 instead.

Chavis does play 2b though and would be worth a flyer. His bat shows a lot of upside. I don't think it would be a downgrade from Profar.
It would be hard to downgrade from 2019 Profar. Chavis as a full time 2B might accomplish that. The bat is over-rated and the glove needs work to get to average.
