3Despite the value being not in there favor I do really like this trade for SD. Pham is a good player and improves there team at a time they are looking to compete. It’s also great from the Rays POV as they get a great defensive OF with power but also free up space for a potential Encarnacion or Garcia signing. And they get a great prospect even though he’s young. Win-Win deal in my eyes
1) this prospect the padres are getting better be good. 2) who's the corner bat for SD now?
Cronenworth is the prospect, but we're also hearing there's another prospect going to Tampa. Meanwhile, Preller seems like he's liquidating his farm. So far, the only imbalanced trades so far this offseason have been his.
