7AWFUL DEAL FOR MARINERS.
one of the worst contracts in baseball what did u except Christian y?
seager is paid 19 mil this year 18 mil next and club option for 15 mil in 2022 it becomes player option if he is traded, he is very good defencively and provides a decent left handed bat, the last couple years his bat has been declining but he was starting to put it back together last year, he was injured to start the year and for the first month after coming back he wasnt good with the bat, but after that month he came on strong and finished the year decently, he isnt even close to 1 of the worst contracts, especially when teams are paying stars 30 to 35 mil a year, kyle isnt a star but in my opinion worth his contract, mariners would never give up any of thos prospects to trade him, when all they need to do is play him for 2 more years and his contract would be up,
53 million till he is what 35 and as been on the decline? for a guy that's batted 249,221 and 239 the last 3 years and struck out 86 times in just 393 ab last year and missed significant amount of time due to injury .if he didn't have a kicker for that 3rd year when he is 35 he might have value but that's wasted money.
he doesnt have a kicker if he isnt traded and the mariners definitly dont have to, seager has stated he might be wiling to waive that 3rd year if he is traded to a winning team and he is givin reason to do so,and 35 at the end of the contract while a team is going to give a 4 year deal to donaldson and he is 34 at the start of his new contract, the only injury he has had was a torn tendon in his hand at the end of spring training last year which took a month to heal, that is the only major injury he has had in entire career, and like i said he had a very solid year after recovering from that injury, so if a team wants to trade for him then they better come with a much different trade than that because the mariners would hang up the phone and never awnser the phone from the brewers again if that is their proposal
but after saying that i look back at my trade proposals on this site and relise they are extremely biased towards my team also and i relise i really dont know much about any other team on here except for my mariners so it is understandable why you would post this, we all like to dream on the best trade for our own teams
for your info fraley had a big year the last 2 years , he has speed defence and a very good bat, gilbert was their 1st round pick 2 years ago , last year was his 1st pro year he also had a big year he moved up 3 levels ending in aa and a 10/ 5 record a 2.13 era 135 ip with 33 bb and 165 so, and evan white just signed a contract to eat up all 6 of his 1st major league years with 3 option years making him controllable for 9 years, he was there 1st round pick 3 years ago. so it would be extremely hard for any team to trade for any of them let alone for a salary dump. have a good 1
