Rumors of the Rays interest in Marte is probably exaggerated. He would cost a ton in trade capital and salary (by the Rays standards) and that’s just not how the Rays operate. For the Rays to also move a low cost SP from the rotation to get Marte, when reliable reports say the Rays are looking to add to their rotation…. Yeah, I can’t see this trade working.
