4Padres get an ace level pitcher. Reds get backfill for Greene, a C/DH and an outfielder who could become a superstar. Yankees get a superstar outfielder and backfill for Rice at 1b.
I really like this trade. Like the other responder mentioned it might be hard to get Tatis to waive his no trade. 98% of the trades posted on here probably have little to no chance of being made in the real world but it's fun being on here. I think this site should save these trades and if someone nails one his or her name should be noted on the front page of this site with congratulations. :-)
Yeah, one thing I do not do is take these deals seriously. We're on here acting with about 10% of the information actual GMs are operating with. So any proposal, at least from me, it's all in good fun.
💁🏼♀️ Padres are for sale & Preller saves his job by moving salary for a couple of low level prospects (certainly not this assortment). 👍 It’s the only way the Yankees (or any team) should be willing to take on the entire contract. And you still have to get Tatis to waive his no trade which seems even more unlikely unless the Padres approach him and tell him “hey we’re for sale, ownership will be moving players and salary and stepping back from competing for the next 2+ years” ….
