4reds dont need a shortstop
Well he’s 18 so he won’t be ready for awhile. He is though, a top 100 prospect to go along with Eldridge, who fits VERY well in that ballpark. They could use a first baseman
💁🏼♀️ From MLBTR chat; SF has about $168MM committed to next year’s payroll, and their tax number is $54MM under the threshold. They can add to their roster in a ton of ways just by spending some money, rather than trading Eldridge. 👎
But they said they won’t. Looking for ideas to build based on what they said: build a foundation on pitching and defense, not hand out 9 figure deals to pitchers
