6Forgot to add Christian Encarnacion-Strand going to the Nationals. A first baseman that doesn't fit the future roster construction in Cincinnati would be a good fit for a rebuilding team with a hole at first.
💁🏼♀️ I think this trade would bring into question Krall’s mental stability and potentially get him fired, certainly hospitalized. 🤦🏻♀️ 🤕
Most likely Gore scenario; He pitches inconsistently & relatively poorly throughout the spring and into the first week of May and gets shut down with shoulder fatigue/inflammation. End of June it’s announced that he’s having shoulder surgery. He misses the rest of the ‘26 season and all of the strike shortened ‘27 season. Is a free agent during the ‘27 ‘28 off season and signs elsewhere. Your trade isn’t looking so good anymore is it?
Not sure why you are making up hypothetical scenarios... this is a mock trade site, it's all in good fun. Gore pitched 30 games in 2025 and 32 games in 2024. Even in 2023, he pitched 27 games. He would make an already good unit one of the better pitching staffs in the league.
He is also 26-41 for the four years he has pitched.
