One of my favorite players needs a change a scenery to re-ignite his career. Ozzie won't bring back the haul he would have two years ago, but his low salary ($7M), plus two more years of control at $7M/season, makes it too difficult for the Angels to pass on the addition of his solid veteran leadership in the middle of the infield. Jack Kochanowicz will give the Braves another arm to attempt to mold into a contributor at the MLB level. The other two are prospects that will add some more depth in a baron farm system and/or help bridge the gap at the major league level. Matthew Lugo (OF) gives the Braves an additional positional player in the Top 15, and Joswa offers a very promising SS prospect to the farm system that would shoot up the Top 10 in the Braves system.

Where would Christian Moore play in this scenario?

From everything I've read, this would give Moore an opportunity to heal, for one, but also an opportunity to be mentored by Albies while they split time. Now, me personally, I offer Moore the opportunity to also get some time at 3B in lieu of Moncado, which would get Albies and Moore in the lineup at the same time. At some point, Moore's glove will dictate this transition, or take him to the outfield altogether. Remember, the Angels are very young in the middle, and if this move helps Moore, he can take over at 3B or 2B and replace Albies and/or Rendon.
