Toglia is a statcast darling. Does everything at the 90th percentile except strikes out a ton. A bit reminiscent of a young Brandon Lowe.

Ughhh…. Another Morel. In all seriousness, if the Rays trade Yandy they may have a need for a RHB that plays 1B. I’ve been thinking Morel should be that guy but if not him, then maybe they bring someone in from outside the organization. Toglia is a SH who hits LHP best and also plays better away from Coors Field. He might work (though I see no comparison to Lowe). Basabe is totally expendable, so this trade works.
