If the Rays trade Yandy it's to save money and open up playing time for the 3 LHB 1B/DH they have in the minors who are beyond ready for the Show. Wade would be of no interest. Doval might be an interesting reclamation project, but the Rays' Pen is pretty good already. I expect the Rays to trade Yandy this Winter for a mostly prospect package.

Good perspective. I was thinking briefly TB would try to re-hab Doval, then trade him next winter. I knew TB had incoming at 1B but felt they could likely re-trade Wade this off season. Doval would be a catch IMO. Wade is 1 year and could free up one of the 3 you refer to as trade bait. Anyway, thanks for the opinion. I enjoy some 'blind' conversation way more than a comment like "Rays wouldn't do that" You probably know what I mean. "Rays aren't interested in that" type stuff without any explanation or reasoning. LOL. Interesting discussions going on about TB "Trop" and roof repair. Not for here too much but maybe yes, if TB is playing in variety of Spring Training ? Minor League stadiums. Affects interest to join TB.
Yeah, I wish there was more discussion on BTV too. Most folks don’t even bother explaining why they think their trade proposal is a good fit for both teams. And you’re right, Doval would be an interesting piece, if only to clean up and trade. I think San Fran should be interested in a lot of TB’s players this offseason. TB should be interested in listening to offers on Lowe, Diaz, Littell and Fairbanks, any one of which would improve the Giants.
